London: Mother appeals for news on missing teenage daughter Ayla Huseyin

A family has appealed for news about a missing seventeen year old girl. Londoner Ayla Huseyin has not been seen since Thursday, 6 September. According to posts by her mother Alev Ozturkmen on social media on Monday afternoon, Ayla did not turn up for work on Thursday and they are frantically trying to find her. Ayla is known to frequent Romford, Ilford, Kent, Victoria and Camden. Underneath the original post, which has been shared on Facebook over one thousand times, Mrs Ozturkmen has posted an update that her daughter has contacted the family by Messenger, Facebook’s messaging service, but has still not been found: “UPDATE: AYLA IS STILL MISSING BUT HAS MADE CONTACT VIA MESSENGER, AT LEAST SHE IS ALIVE! However the search will still continue untill she is found x [sic]” More recently, Ayla’s mother posted “PLEASE CONTINUE TO SHARE POST AS AYLA IS STILL MISSING AND HAS NOT BEEN SEEN [sic]” Mrs Ozturkmen has urged anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the police on 101.
