About the World Travel Awards
The full list of winners from Europe, including those who won in the Turkiye country awards, can be found on the World Travel Awards website.
First established in 1993, the awards aim to “acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry.” The awards operate at a country, regional and global level.
Each year, the winner and runners up from each category, as well as self-nominations and commendations are put forward for consideration. A short list is then drawn up for each category, voted on by travel executives and consumers over the course of a year.
