A London Turkish drama group will be putting on its third production at Northumberland Park Community School in Tottenham on Saturday 16 April.
Written and directed by Fatoş Törer, Ömer-Sinsi Servis is a light-hearted look at accessing emergency health care here in London from the perspective of the British Turkish community. The play is set in a hospital where both the staff and patients are Turkish. Expect a belly full of laughter as the patients try to use and abuse the emergency services according to their individual needs, from those in need of help due to ‘disabilities’, through to others requiring medical proof for their insurance claims.
Ömer-Sinsi Servis is Törer’s fourth drama project as a writer/director and her second comedy. She is also among the cast in this 2-act play, which stars Serap Ismail, Mesut Aksu, Seycan Mustafa, Emre Gündoğdu, Güldal Baştürk, Okan Tufan, Mine Beyzade, Evrim Başak, and Ahmet Gökhan.
The event, produced by The Dramatic Turks, is supported by Turkish Youths of London, Hass Foods, and London Turkish Radio.
