April will see the UK’s first ever Turkish Fashion and Arts Festival, where designers of Turkish descent and those incorporating Turkish elements into their collections will showcase their diverse creations on the runway at this one day event.
The shows will take place at The Engine Room in Tottenham, North London, in the evening, followed by an after-party afterwards. Afternoon visitors to the venue will have a chance to buy from a host of stalls at the festival’s “exclusive” pop-up indoor fashion fair.
There are currently no details of who the featured designers will be, but the event organisers, a new body called the Turkish Fashion & Arts Community Council UK, say the event will include “Prestigious collections from top designers with a Turkish fusion.”
The one-day event is in partnership with online Turkish Cypriot channel Euro Genç TV and sponsored by Ultimate Force.
Activities kick off with the fashion market, which runs from 2pm to 5.30pm. There’s an hour’s break before the two-hour fashion show starts, with “special guest performers” also promised as part of the evening event.
Organisers say, “A percentage of the earnings will be donated to local and international charities for cancer research and mental health awareness.”

Admission: there are a range of ticket options starting with £5 (+ £1.13 booking fee) to enter the Afternoon Fashion Fair. Alternatively, there are £25 tickets (+ £2.80 bf) for the Evening Fashion Show, or upgrade to £45 ( + £4.460 fee) for VIP tickets to the Evening Fashion Show.
