Turkish Airlines has announced it is resuming flights between Turkey and the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus (TRNC) from Saturday, 20 June 2020. The airline will be operating four flights a week to Ercan Airport, Lefkoşa, until the end of the month.
The carrier had been expected to resume its North Cyprus flights last week, but the start date was postponed.
The June 2020 North Cyprus-Turkey flight schedule is as follows:
Ercan International Airport, Lefkoşa – Istanbul Airport, Istanbul
05.35 departure for flights on 21, 22, 24, 26, 28, and 29 June, arriving in Istanbul at 07.15.

Passengers in North Cyprus seeking to reach other destinations in Turkey, including Ankara, in June can only do so via connecting domestic flights in Istanbul.
All travellers are advised to check travel restrictions at airports and also at the country of destination prior to booking, to ensure they satisfy any country entry criteria.
For passengers arriving in Turkey, health checks will be carried out at the point of entry. PCR tests will be performed free of charge in cases where symptoms are identified during the health check.
The Turkish Ministry of Health requires all passengers entering Turkey to undergo 14-days of self-isolation in their homes or at a designated address.
For those flying to the TRNC, only TRNC citizens who permanently live in North Cyprus, or those with student visas, or residency or work permits may enter the country in June 2020. It is mandatory for all new arrivals to be quarantined in a government authorised-centre for 14 days.
For all non-TRNC citizens other than students, a payment of 4,400 TL (approximately £510) to cover meals and accommodation is also due.
