National wholesaler JJ Foodservice is seeking to acquire more properties to support expansion plans.
Following record sales of £170m for the first three quarters of the current financial year – up 14% on the same period the previous year – the wholesaler is looking to bring quality products, a streamlined ordering system and a state-of-the-art delivery operation to even more caterers across Britain.
Group General Manager for JJ’s, Terry Larkin, said, “We’re ready to grow – but our biggest challenge is finding suitable freehold sites. We are urging anyone with a warehouse between 20,000sqft and 50,000sqft in West London to get in touch.”
JJ Foodservice currently has eleven UK branches located in Enfield, Sidcup, Basingstoke, Dagenham, Birmingham, Bristol, Doncaster, Leicester, Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle.
The business is also looking at sites outside of London, particularly after a successful Women in Fish and Chips conference in Birmingham earlier this month, where 86% of delegates surveyed said they would like a local JJ branch to serve their area.
