Competition: win a pair of tickets to see the legendary Okay Temiz live at the Jazz Café

Turkish jazz legend Okay Temiz brings his iconic Oriental Wind Ensemble to Camden’s award-winning music venue Jazz Café for an extremely rare London appearance. The classically trained multi-instrumentalist has been performing professionally since 1955 on musical devices that he has either collected or created over the years. A unique talent, he can transform even the simplest beats into a whole new fusion sound, as he constantly breaks musical conventions with his sonic adventures.

Mesmerising live, the gym-hopping octogenarian is set to perform a high-energy set with his band that is guaranteed to have you throwing shapes. DJ Ece Duzgit is on hand before and after the show to keep the funky beats rolling.

For your chance to win a pair of tickets, simply answer the following question correctly: A highly talented musician, which instrument(s) is Okay Temiz best known for playing: A) Piano          B) Percussion          C) Trumpet The names of entrants with the correct answer received by the deadline will be put into a hat and the first one out will receive a pair of tickets.

Prizes

T-VINE Magazine is giving away one pair of tickets to the Okay Temiz concert at the Jazz Café on 5 February 2020. The competition is free to enter and runs for just over 24 hours, until 9pm on Tuesday 4 February 2020.

How to enter

There are two ways to enter into our free prize draw:

• Either like T-VINE Magazine’s Facebook page and leave your answer under the Okay Temiz competition post pinned at the top of the page; OR
• Send us an email to competition @ t-vine.com marking the subject line Okay Temiz competition. If you are emailing your entry, do include your full name and daytime contact number.

Those responding by Facebook are not required to give their full details on the public post. Should you be a winner via social media, you will be sent a private message from T-VINE informing you that you have won and be asked for your details as part of your prize confirmation.

Competition deadline

The deadline for your competition entry is 9pm (UK time) Tuesday 04 February 2020. We will make the draw that same evening and announce the winner on the same day.

Competition rules

Only one competition entry per person. You must be eighteen or over and reside in the United Kingdom to enter. There is one prize on offer, comprising a pair of tickets to Jazz Café and Serious presents Okay Temiz on Wednesday 05 February 2020. Venue address: Jazz Café, 5 Parkway, Camden, London NW1 7PG The prize does not include travel or any other expenses for the winners or their guests. The concert tickets are issued subject to the promoter Columbo Group. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-negotiable. There is no cash alternative. The winner will be selected randomly by T-VINE Magazine, who must claim their prize within four hours of being contacted. Failure to do so would render them disqualified and a new winner picked.
