A Turkish ‘whodunit’, Kim Ölecek to tour Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham

A more chaotic environment you will not find than in this wealthy household where a man plunders the fortune inherited from his wife’s family, a woman is cheated on by her best friend, a mother-in-law hates her daughter-in-law, and a clumsy butler tries to hold it all together.

Written and directed by Evren Öksüz, Kim Ölecek [Who Will Die] is a comedy murder mystery packed full of laugh out loud moments as everyone in this crazy household tries to kill each other.

The two-act play stars Haluk Saglam, Serap Tüysüz, Özlem Gultekin, Asu Uzun Latham and Evren Öksüz. Choreography is by Filiz Özüm (of Startup Dance Studio), with art direction by Gülçin Bulut, and light and sound by Caner Karagün.

This Turkish play is being jointly staged by the North West Turkish Community Association (NWTCA) and Atlantic Productions in three cities in the north west of England, ensuring Turkish speaking communities in the northwest of England can enjoy some quality Turkish entertainment.

The whirlwind tour in June will see Kim Ölecek performed for one night only in theatres in Salford (Manchester), Liverpool and Birmingham.
