Turkish festivals generally mean plenty of great food and culture that’s fun for all ages, which is why thousands now flock to the West London Turkish Festival, which annually takes place in July.
First launched in 2016, the Feltham-based one-day event has gotten bigger with each passing year. Around 10,000 people from diverse backgrounds attended last year’s festival and they expect even bigger crowds for 2023.
This year’s programme includes live Turkish music by Neslihan Çakır, Hakan and Erhan Bozdağ, folk dancing, sports including an adult football tournament, fun fair and other activities for all the family, and lots of great food stalls cooking up tasty Turkish street food.
Organised by the West London Turkish Volunteers, a local charity group, the festival is free to attend but prior registration via Eventbrite is needed.
