One of Britain’s most exciting new culinary talents is back on our screens on Sunday morning. Selin Kiazim, whose family roots hail from North Cyprus, will be creating dishes from her Oklava Turkish Cypriot Kitchen cookbook on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch programme.
Selin is having a phenomenal 2017. In June, her muhallebi dessert was crowned the winner on BBC’s Great British Menu 2017 series, and was served at a banquet for the 140th Wimbledon Tennis Championships. In May, she published her acclaimed debut cookbook, and its recipes have appeared in national media such as The Times, The Telegraph and the Independent.
See her cook up a feast on Sunday Brunch on 17 September. Hosted by Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer, the popular weekly show is broadcast between 9am and 12 midday and features interviews with celebrities, cookery and drinks tastings. This Sunday’s guests will include actor Paterson Joseph, actress Helen Monks, TV presenter Melvin Odoom, and comedian Jason Byrne.
