Ever since its launch in 2017, the Turkish Cypriot Cultural Festival in North London has become an important annual fixture in the British Turkish social calendar.
With its live music, DJs, comedy sketches, folk dancing, delicious food and drinks, craft and community group stalls, children’s face painting, funfair rides and even donkey rides, this family-friend event is the ideal occasion to relax and soak up some Turkish Cypriot cultural vibes while catching up with relatives and friends, old and new.
The event organisers, Council of Turkish Cypriot Associations UK (CTCA), have announced the date for this year’s festival, so save the date: Sunday 30 June 2024.
The festival will again be on Enfield Playing Fields, on the aptly named Donkey Lane (the wild donkeys of Karpaz are the national animal of North Cyprus).
Weather permitting, a large turnout of 20,000 plus people.
CTCA will provide more details about the entertainment nearer the time.
For those with a commercial interest, both potential sponsors and advertisers in the festival programme, and those wishing to have a stall, should get in touch with the CTCA as soon as possible. You can email them on info@ctcauk.com putting Turkish Cypriot Cultural Festival 2024 in the subject line.
