Erol Alkan is back in his home city London at the start of October, playing South Bank venue Between Two Bridges.
The legendary producer, promoter and DJ first dropped his Disco 3000 mix over a decade ago, creating a magical set of “spaced out disco, bubbling synthesis and Balearic gems.” Made on two turntables and with the aid of a 1970s Cat Octave synth and Korg Stage Echo, Alkan’s 80-minute set was “a tribute to the days of tape edits and letting a single track play for ages.”
Alkan will be joined at Between Two Bridges by fellow London DJ and producer Lemmy Ashton. The acid-house devotee is known for his intense, genre-spanning marathon sets that gleefully ping across the sonic spectrum.
Expect an epic evening of music, with admission a fabulously low £6!
