The next international football break is upon us, which can only mean one thing: more Euro 2024 group qualifying action. Over the next seven days, Turkiye and Azerbaijan all play, along with the four UK home nations.
Northern Ireland is the only side with two Euro 2023 qualifiers in September, as they take on Group H rivals Slovenia on Thursday and Kazakhstan on Sunday. The Green and White Army will be playing both games away from home.
Turkiye, Wales, England, Scotland and Azerbaijan each play one qualifier in this round of Euro24 games and one international friendly.
Scotland and England will be looking to continue their 100 percent record and remain top of their groups, as they take on (South) Cyprus and Ukraine respectively.
Turkiye, who top Group D with 9 out of a possible 12 points, take on Armenia. Meanwhile Azerbaijan, who are bottom of Group F having scored just one point in three games, play mid-table Sweden.
This round of fixtures also includes the oldest international derby in the world, as Scotland take on the Auld Enemy England at Hampden Park on Tuesday in a friendly match. The last outing for these two sides – a Euro 2020 qualifier at Wembley in June 2021 – ended in a 0-0 draw.
