A British production company is keen to hear from young male Turkish Cypriot actors for a new BBC Three drama.
Few details are known about the drama other than live auditions for all the parts will be held next month, with shooting due to start in London in October.
The advert from Fully Focused Productions states they are looking for a “British Turkish/Cypriot male” with a “playing age [of] 16.” The character in the new drama is described as a “joker, cheeky, always up to mischief.”
The role is English speaking, but the actor must also be able to speak “basic level Turkish/Cypriot.”
Applicants must be over 16 years of age, and can be from any background. They are asked to submit good quality photos, a professional CV and showreels, or good quality self-tapes, by Sunday 30 August 2020.
The email address for submissions is casting@fullyfocusedproductions.com. They should mark the subject line: For role of British Turkish Cypriot Male, 16.
