New Atila single ‘I Can’t Believe We Made It’ out today

Easy listening crooner Atila is back with a fabulous new single, released in Britain today. Inspired by the singer’s own life and performed with orchestral support for a warm cinematic sound, I Can’t Believe We Made It is set to become a modern classic.

The song was written by Atila and Robert Barron, and pays homage to those who put their faith in the jazz singer, helping him to achieve his dreams. Its universally appealing lyrics include the lines:

“But look at us now. United we stand. Back then when I told you trust me, take my hand.”

Talking about I Can’t Believe We Made It, Atila says the song’s not so much about achieving fame or adulation, but more about his personal journey:

“You know, it’s been a long 18 years in my career. And of course my personal life. And, I guess, the lyrics represent where I am now. And I’m in a great place. I have a lovely family and the career is going strong. I hope I can convey that, and put that emotion and feeling across to the people listening to the song.”

Blessed with silky smooth vocals, the Turkish Cypriot singer has been likened to Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Jr and Michael Buble. Last year, he released the critically acclaimed King For A Day – a tribute album that included some of Nat King Cole’s most memorable early hit songs, such as Unforgettable and This Can’t Be Love.

I Can’t Believe We Made It is out on AH Records. You can buy it now as a download for 99p from Amazon and iTunes.

You can also catch Atila live this month, as he performs gigs across the country, including in London, Great Yarmouth, Westcliff-on-Sea and Retford. For full details visit the Gigs section of his website.
