Luton’s Turkish community launched their inaugural cultural festival back in 2017, but due to the pandemic and then the passing of Her Majesty, The Queen, the event hasn’t happened for the last three years.
It’s back bigger and better this year, showcasing the cultural richness of Turkiye, its traditions and history in what promises to be a fun day for people of all ages and backgrounds.
Expect to tuck into delicious Turkish sweet and savoury cuisine, including döner and gözleme, listen to traditional Turkish music, and enjoy Turkish folkdance performances. There are plenty of activities for children too.
It’s all happening on Father’s Day, Sunday 18 June, too, so if you are looking for somewhere to treat your dad and spend some quality time with all the family, get yourselves over to Stockwood Park in Luton.
Entry to the festival is free, but prior registration is needed. Full details below.
