The time difference between Britain and Turkiye has reduced to two hours again after the clocks went forward on Sunday morning.
Cyprus (both North and South) and Turkiye are now back on the same time zone after the annual adjustment for Summer Time.
The UK, like Cyprus, adheres to the Daylight Saving system, which requires people to put their clocks back an hour every autumn to enable more daylight during the winter months. This is reversed on the last Sunday of March, when Summer Time kicks in.
Turkiye opted out of the practice of putting clocks forward and back in 2016 to forego the confusion and disruption it causes.
As a result, for six months of the year, there is a three hour time difference between Turkiye and the UK, and one hour with Cyprus.
